Lantbruksnytt, one of Sweden's largest independent agricultural media, has done a feature on the new ultrasound technology used in Repello - a non-toxic and research-based solution to keep mice and other rodents away from agricultural environments.
In the report, researcher Örjan Johansson explains how the technology was developed. By combining advanced ultrasound frequencies, he has, together with Repello, developed an innovative mouse scarer that is adapted for farms, farm buildings and other exposed areas.
The feature describes how the need for safe and non-toxic methods is increasing as rodent damage is becoming more common - not only in stables and stores, but also in residential environments. The report highlights how new technologies make it possible to reduce risks without poisons and without major installations.
The fact that Lantbruksnytt recognises Repello shows that the new technology has made an impact even in the most demanding environments, and that the demand for modern, sustainable solutions continues to grow among Swedish farmers.
