The world's first scientifically tested mouse and rat repeller
Repello is the only rat and mouse repeller that is based on the species' own alarm signals. Developed in collaboration with researchers at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) and evaluated at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
91%
Fewer rat observations
In the SLU pilot study, the number of registered rats decreased dramatically when Repello's signal was activated. Activity dropped by over 90% in some spaces, even in heavily affected environments.
100%
Repelling effect
In every registered rat encounter the same reaction occurred: the rat stopped, turned around and left the area. Not a single individual ignored the signal – all fled immediately.
Recognized for actually working
Other products are criticized for lack of effect. Repello is praised for working in the real world.

How the technology works
Repello is based on the rats' and mice's own warning signals. By recreating the ultrasonic patterns that rodents associate with danger, Repello creates an environment they instinctively avoid. The method is patented, tested in real homes and completely safe for humans and pets.

Rats communicate danger using ultrasound
Rats use a specific teeth grinding sound to signal danger to others in the group. This sound is in the ultrasonic range and triggers immediate alertness and flight.

Repello recreates the alarm signal
The technology is based on patented sound patterns that mimic the rat's own warning signals. The frequencies shift continuously so that the rodents cannot get used to them.

Rodents leave the area immediately
When the signals are activated, rats and mice perceive the space as life-threatening. This causes them to quickly move away and avoid the area even after the sound has been turned off.
